Customer Review: Cradle me Tx?

When my last Vx died, I bought a TX. It's got lots of cool features, but the cradle charger/sync device isn't one of them. It's functional, but no where as easy to use as the cradles for the V and earlier series. That may have to do with the more complex connectors, but whatever, it does require greater care and attention to what you're doing than the older ones. That said, it's not a reason not to purchase -- just my opinion.

I was displeased with the cords that came with my Palm E2, unsightly, loose connection (can't move the palm when syncing or connection might be lost). This is a nice alternative and I don't have to plug and unplug two cords all the time. It looks nice on my desk and I personally like the light that stays on all the time. It's not distracting to me at all. I recommend this over the charger/syncronizer that came with my unit any day.Customer Review: Good product

The cradle is of good quality. I guess from earlier cradles Palm has made they decided to make sure that when the Palm is in the cradle it will not come out easily. For Palm TX models they snap into this cradle and it is a little difficult to release it to get it out of the cradle. So if you were use to Palm's earlier cradles that were easier to get the Palm into and out of the cradle, this one will be a little more challenging.Customer Review: T5 Palm cradle

The Palm T5 does not come with a cradle. This kit is a nice solution to the problem. The Palm fits very easily into the cradle and I have had no problems at all charging and synchronizing. The kit also comes with adaptors so that you can use the cradle in Europe. I have not had a chance to try this feature but it seems quite easy to switch between different plug configurations. I received my package with great excitement, as my original pda had died on me, I opened the package with great care, I followed every word of the installation directions.
I am still waiting to use my new pda as I had to send it to Palm Care to be repaired. Hopefully I will get it back before christmas.
Maybe then I can share my review of this product. But my payments will continue to come.
