Buying a cable online is so much cheaper than the cheapest ones at Best Buy or Radio Shack, But, do they work?
My experience says YES.
I shop Amazon for various cables when I need them. Once, when I was stoooopid, I bought a MONSTER cable. Best Buy wouldn't take it back. So, I always shop Amazon.
This cable works fine.

This Mac cable worked great to connect my Macbook to my HDMI TV for Netflix viewing. It was 85% cheaper than the retail stores near me. The 6ft HDMI cable was a bonus, and was also needed. Works well.
How can I not rate this shopping experience well?

the hdmi cord itself is good regular standard build, shows good clarity on my hdtv thru mac laptop or even xbox 360 onto my sony bravia tv. HOWEVER, the mini dvi-hdmi adaptor sucks. It works and it shows perfectly onto the tv BUT i have to have it bent upwards for it to work..i cant just plug it in and boom, it works. actually it did for the first 15 minutes after that, the laptop flashed and the signal was lost. i have a belkin mini dvi to a standard monitor adaptor and it pulls the cord downwards but it still works. only thing that verifies this purchase is the hdmi cord but i would hold off on the adaptor. at least it works on a certain position and i dont use my hdtv as the regular 2nd screen.Customer Review: Great Solution!

This connector/cable kit is perfect for White 13" Macbooks. I was leery at first, considering with shipping it only cost me $5.00 and my Macbook is a bit finicky now that it's 4 years old. The mini-dvi end fits pretty snug. Be careful not to bend any pins. The picture it projects onto my 32" LCD HDTV looks amazing. As someone else stated, though - the 6' HDMI cable is kind of short. I may be purchasing a longer one in the future. The only thing I recommend is having a good set of external speakers. As you white Macbook users know, the speakers aren't the best. I used an old pair of Dell speakers w/subwoofer and it's almost like having a home theatre now! Best $5.00 I have ever spent on my Mac! :)Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted!

This adapter is just what I have been looking for, and for a lot less money than any of my local stores. It works great with my MacBook. The 6 foot extension gives me lots of flexibility. I couldn't be happier with the product quality, performance, or price. As for the company, the first shipment was not correct. Sometimes mistakes happen. I was reassured to know Amazon was with me every step of the way to correct the problem. I thought it might be a hassle -- but they responded quickly, and in just over a week I had placed my order, received the wrong item, contacted the company, AND received the correct item. I got this mostly to watch netflix instantly on my TV with my macbook. They have a special thing to do it, but this was cheeper, so I went with it. In fact, I'm typing on my TV right now! The HDMI cable IS black, not white, but I'm okay with that. It works. The quality is pretty good, but not fantastic, as you could expect from attaching your 13.3 inch macbook to an 42 inch TV screen. If you want to watch movies, you have to get another cable to use your TV's speakers with your macbook. I haven't gotten mine yet, but i found something around the house that I am using for now. This is a great deal, and i wouldn't hesitate to buy it!
