Customer Review: COOL?
Summary: 5 Stars

OK, So i ordered this from Eforcity ( Took a while to get it even though its Cali - Cali ) shipping (yes i know review the product not the seller)

I really can't tell much difference between HDMI and my $50 Madcats Component HD Cables, just that " RGB Full Range (HDMI) " and " Y Pb / Cb Pr / Cr Super-White (HDMI)" are now working and you can tell the difference when their on or off, also that the image is sharper, but the contrast is ticker no higher. I know technology but I never thought that HDMI we Unrecognizable by TV's until PS3 / PC / Xbox 360 was turned on and had a electric current running through it, And apparently every HDMI cable has a "Loading" delay prior to operation ( If you Turn PS3 on > Switch Inputs Via TV remote ) You will see a "Loading..." on your tv for 3 seconds until it is ready.

Overall If you have HDTV and have PlayStation 3 get this Cheap HDMI Cable, But honestly i do not see the difference between Component HD and HDMI on a LCD 42' LG, its just a little sharper and clean when it comes to texture and that 1080p looks better on it.

Customer Review: Great Cable - Meets Highest Specifications For HDMI
Summary: 5 Stars

Don't waste your money on more expensive cables!!! This cable meets the HDMI 1.3 spec for 1920x1080p HD @ 340 MHz (10.2 Gbps) so all bases are covered on data speed and bandwidthth. Additionally, this inexpensive cable does not cause or receive relevant levels of electrical noise (EMI/RFI) interference. I have three of these cables and they connect my Blu-Ray and other HD sources to my state-of-the-art Samsung UN-55B8000 55" LED TV. The HD audio/video quality is flawless even with all the cables bundled together. The key to getting the best performance out of any cable is to keep them as short as possible. This 6-foot cable is short enough to avoid any chance of performance problems in terms of both passing signal and immunity to noise sources. Longer cables impede the signal and act like an antenna for noise - so if you need a 20, 50, or 100 foot run - sure, buy more expensive super-shielded, mega-twisted, mondo-conductive, gas-injected cable. Otherwise, if you just need a patch cord to run 6 feet, save your money for something that makes a difference.

Customer Review: don't believe the hype
Summary: 1 Stars

I have a brand new Samsung hdtv 1080p so I wanted to transfer the best picture from my cable box and home theatre receiver to my tv so I bought two of these thinking they are 1.3 certified so it must be the same as spending top dollar right, well i was dead wrong. I hooked up component cables from my cable box too and froze the screen and made a comparising by switching input sources on my tv. It was frozen on a face and the difference was not a huge difference just that the with hdmi cable the hair was bland and with the component cable the hair was shiny and you could see more detail like little curls in the hair. Then I changed the channel for another comparising and just happened upon Dr.Phil... It was like night and day, the component cables made him look more crisp and clear.... very obvious to me.. I just purchased monster component cables for my blu ray... I don't if it's hype that hdmi delivers the best picture or in this case, as i've read a lot in reviews" you get what you pay for" Good luck everyone

Customer Review: Best value on Amazon
Summary: 5 Stars

I had several other HDMI cables that I have purchased online including one Monster M1000 HD-8. Having a Playstation 3 and a 10-bit Sony LCD television I wanted to make sure I was getting the best picture possible. While the Monster cable does produce a richer color palet it wasn't in my budget to buy two to interconnect my Playstation 3 to my receiver and then purchase a second for between my television and receiver. This inexpensive cable outperforms every other non-Monster HDMI cable I have purchased online. I was sceptical at first, but this 1.3b cable shows more grain in the picture than a standard cable when connecting between a PS3 and a TV.

The bottom line is this cable is for a budget you can't beat this cable. They can't be making money selling these cables. If you can afford around $25 for a used Monster HD-8 cable and are looking for the best then I would recommend that instead.

Customer Review: Didn't work the first time
Summary: 3 Stars

Arrived in good shape. But when connected from my Cable Receiver to Samsung 42" HDTV (1080i), video worked but audio did not. The seller promptly agreed to send a replacement. Will wait to see what I get next and change my review. I just paid $2.28 with free shipping compared to a $20 cable in the local Walmart store.

Update: 8/20/2010:

The seller forgot to send the replacement cable. Waited for 2 weeks before sending them another e-mail and they sent me a new one. While the new cable worked immediately it is still a $2.28 cable. There is lot of noise and sometimes it simply stops working. I have to take it out and put it back in so make it work. In summary, this is a BAD cable. I bought a $6.99 Amazon Basics HDMI cable and it is very good so far and also support Audio return channel.

Don't buy this if you want a uninterrupted HDMI experience ;)
