Hey, for around $100 you can't go wrong with this card. It's not a top of the line card, but it does alot of things really really well. Good overall performance and low cost, moderate power consumption. Games are now smoother, and you can tune the settings for speed, quality, etc using a slider bar, or more advanced settings for those that want to custom tune and tweak the card. This is a great upgrade for the money! I replaced a 128 ati with this and it mad a world of difference. The minor gaming I do with my pc, you could see the difference in the games, thing flowed much smoother. As a low-power gamer, this was a good upgrade for my Dell Pentium D w/ Vista Ultimate. Two weeks later the same 8500 GT but w/ 1GB came out for $50 !!! I was looking for a quality video card to drive my new 22" widescreen monitor and render graphics for pc video games. This card performs well and does not require extra power supply - it simply plugs into the PCIe slot and configures easily with the supplied software.
