I needed a simple, compact flashdrive with a decent amount of space that could transfer large design files between a PC and a Mac quickly and without a lot of scumware. I didn't plan on using it everyday or taking it with me everywhere---I just needed something with an attached cap that could hook onto my keychain or fit into a small purse pocket when it wasn't sitting in a port.
As far as I can tell, this does exactly what I need it to. You flip the cap back, plug it in, the computer recognizes it and you transfer; no installations or nasty compatibility issues whatsoever. Of course, transfers are three times faster on the Mac than on the PC (a 5 minute transfer on the PC is about 1 minute on the Mac), but considering the price, the size of the files I'm transferring and the fact that it's a PC, this doesn't surprise me. :) In all my transfer sessions, even with the biggest of files, I've yet to hit full, so 8GB seems pretty comfortable too.
As of right now, I have no problems with this product and I do recommend it.
