I looked at several different stands before deciding on this particular one. I am very pleased wit it. It doesnt come with instructions to put it together but it doesnt take much thought at all to figure it out (my 5 year old can do it without direction). It is very quick and easy to set up. The muslins are nice as well. I have used them both and like them very much. They are a really good size for full length shots. I do on location photography and this setup is absolutely perfect for me, especially that it comes with a case for the stand.Customer Review: A lot for the money

I shoot mostly outdoors and only occasionally inside. I don't have a studio and bring this kit to shoot on location. The carrying case is great and the stands are sturdy.
As other reviewers have noted... Yes, the backdrops are a little thin. Yes, the expanding and collapsing of the stands could be smoother.
This is a great basic all in one kit. Heck even if you throw out the muslin backdrops, the stands, crossbar and carrying case are worth the price.

When I got this product I was so excited to set it up... except, I had a whole lot of bars and not much knowledge as to how they went together. There was no directions anywhere in the box. Well eventually I figured it out and the height and length are adjustable which is nice. The backdrops are easy to thread the rods through and are pretty high quality. I'm excited to take my first pictures with this item.Customer Review: Great deal for the price!

I actually bought this a while back but just used it for the first time. The muslins are essentially giant sheets which wasn't what I was expecting, but it still worked well for what I needed. At the very least, you get two very nice stands plus a cross bar for about $100. I bought a single light stand from a Ritz camera store for about $60 and it wasn't half as nice as the ones that come with this set.Customer Review: Fantastic set for the money!

The stand is fantastic. I love it. The backdrops, yes, they are a little thin, but you can double them up and they work fine. I noticed that when plenty of light is used, the white backdrop is fine. The black one, needs to be thicker. BUT like I said, for the money, it is fantastic. I use photoshop anyway, so it's that easy to fix in the picture. THANKS!!
