I am very pleased with this product, I have owned several Palms in the past with the last one being the T-3 and this one out performs the previous palms hands down. The case is the same as I had purchased with
the palm V so I was quite familiar with the case and it is perfect.
I was even able to get a previously purchased wireless keyboard to work with the Palm TX that would not work with the T-3.
My only but, is that the screen when accessing the internet does not
format for better viewing to which I am researching for an solution.

Outstanding product. If you are considering purchasing the Palm TX, this product is precisely that but accompanied by a metal case for the handheld. For the same price as the Palm TX alone, you get the case free. If you prefer, buy the Palm TX and spend an additional $40 for the case.
This is a well kept secret, and a real buy. For some reason, I could find no mention of this combination package on the Palm website nor amy indication that it is available anywhere except through Amazon. Even on their site I only found it in looking for accessories.

Having owned three other Palm PDAs in the past, I was excited at the prospect of the speed, capacity and display of this machine. Only one problem...it continually lost its digitizer register and I would have to do a full reset to realign the machine...a warm reset wouldn't do it. As usual, Palm technical support was hard to reach and useless when I did reach them, and the online help was only useful if you asked them about things they'd dealt with. After going through the reset/reload routine five times in three weeks, I gave up and sent the thing back.Customer Review: good pda case didn't protect

I've used hard cases 10 yrs and this the first time I have cracked a screen. I use a hard case so I can carry it in my back pants pocket. This case worked well for several months but then allowed enough pressure for the screen to crack.
The t/x has worked well. The processor works a little slow for some of my larger soft ware. The screen would often not work well with grafetti esp. the letters T & I. This was very frustrating.
interestingly since I installed a new screen it has worked fine. the initial sales and delivery were excellent.

I bought my Palm T|X less than a year ago to replace my Sony Clie that I had left on the airplane. At first I was very pleased with my Palm, now it is all I can do to keep from chucking it in the trash. The pointer pen will not calibrate. No matter how precise I try to calibrate the pen, I still have a problem activtivating the control I point to. I had my Clie for several years and never had this problem. Unfortunately, Sony discontinued the Clie. If you can't use the pointer on the Palm, the whole palm is pretty much useless!
