Customer Review: Why do you want an egg cooker anyway?

I purchased this because of the 5 star review it had/has. I should have know that one reviewer is not enough input to make a good decision. In short I don't like it! I hardboiled 6 eggs right after I recived it. It's messy and hard to clean up and frankly for the amount of time it takes you can do just as good a job with a pan of boiling water. It did make perfectly cooked hardboiled eggs but it's just not worth the trouble. Next I tried makeing a couple poached eggs. It was a desaster. The eggs did not cook well. Water leaked all over the counter top from the unit and the eggs stuck to the "non-stick" pan. I had to throw them away, they were not eatable. I'm going to try a couple more times but right now I think this egg cooker is going to live in the rear of my kitchen cupbords for the rest of it's life.
