Customer Review: your common sense measure UV index better than this one

the product we got is defective. the liquid display can only show partial of the digits. If you try to measure uv index behind window glass, it always shows 0, no matter how strong the sun is, which doesnt make sense to me.
As for the UV index measurement, it always show me 2 levels below what the weather forecast says and it doesnt tell you more than what your common sense can tell you.

Purchased this item for a science experiment for my 10-year-old. It was simple to use and worked great! Worth what I paid and I'd recommend it to everyone. We're going to continue to use it for temperature readings and for uv readings when we're out on the lake.Customer Review: Good product
