Customer Review: About a buck worth of parts

Fifteen bucks is overcharging, in my opinion.
This works well enough, but having opened one to dry it out after dropping it in the water, I wasn't impressed by the amount of effort that went into its construction. They can't be spending much much than a buck on manufacturing this device, which consisted of cheap three-wire cable soldered to three metal conductive plates, and about as much plastic technology as is found in a 25-cent vending machine toy. For another 25-cents they could have made it waterproof -- considering many cameras in the Pentax line are water and dust resistant.
