I have purchased this remote 2 times over the past few months. I have purchased a total of 6 for company use in our fitness center. The "other" brands of universal remotes would constantly become unprogrammed and then were very difficult to reprogram. This remote is so easy to program and easy to use. I feel very good about my purchase and urge others to purchase the product.Customer Review: Great replacement

I use this for my bedroom TV and DVD/VHS combo machine.
The codes worked well for the two brands, and the functions work well, although some take a while to get used too. Both the TV and the DVD/VHS players are several years old and the TV remote had died years ago.
Very inexpensive and the basic functions are easy to use. Almost five stars.

I bought this specifically to work with my Coby DVD player I bought on Amazon. Well, it doesn't. The manufactuer says it's guaranteed to work with all Brands, but that they can't help it if it doesn't work with my DVD player. Of course, I can update to one of their more expensive remotes according to customer service. Basically, I wasted $7.00.Customer Review: Does not work on Element TV

Although this remote touts itself as "guaranteed to work with all brands," it does not work with the bargain Element TV I purchased at Circuit City. It was a total waste of my money. I went online to find codes and could not, including at the maker's web site. Too bad, because the design was pretty close to right for my remote-challenged wife.Customer Review: Not Quite Universal

The package says guarantee to work on all devices... BUT None of the code works for the Toshiba TV I have, its not even one of those exotic brands! contacted the tech support and they said I will have to buy a more expensive remote from their company and MAYBE that will work. Think twice before you buy people!
