Got this shelf from Amazon and i'm not dissapointed.The installation was a breeze with only four lag bolts that needed a stud to hold it.You really need the lag bolts because this shelf is rather weighty.Looks good and is rather big.Don't know how one reviewer expected this shelf to stay on the wall with just NAILS!! Anyway, put this item in your shopping cart and the price might go lower in a few days just like it did for me.Customer Review: Does the trick ... eventually

The shelf does what it's supposed to do, but if you're installing where there's no stud, be prepared for a headache. It's possible, but you'll need a couple trips to the hardware store for the right kind of anchors/mollies. I wouldn't do jumping jacks on it, but it holds the TiVo nicely.
Would be nice if it also had a locking feature to stop the swivel. It tightens well, but not fully, so it swings if you bump it.

I needed to wall mount a television and DirecTV box to keep them up and out of the way.
This shelf worked perfectly to hold the DirecTV box - the instructions were clear and mounting went smoothly without any issues whatsoever.
The shelf is deep, so it will hold just about any component you have.
High quality and highly recommended - looks great and is a wonderful deal for the price.

This mount was perfect for my 32inch television. It is well made and looks sleek. The reason it didn't get five stars is because my television tends to lean forward a bit as if the weight is a bit much for the mount. Not sure if it's how I installed it or that the mount works better with smaller sized televisions. Other than that I love the fact that I can swivel it since I have an open space living/kitchen area.Customer Review: Works great for a digital projector

I'm using this shelf instead of mounting my Epson PowerLite 8100 projector from the ceiling. It works just fine and it looks nice. Mount it up high on the wall and you get the benefits of a ceiling-mounted projector without the focus issues. Of course, you may want to cover the dangling HMDI and power cables with paintable cable covers, but you can get those cheap on Amazon or any home-supply store.
