I purchased this component shelf to hold the TV
HD box below the wall mounted LCD TV in our lanai
in Florida. It is perfect. The fact it can swivel
is even better so depending upon the TV angle it is
always square to the TV. Some comments refer to it being
too large but I do not share that concern. It was easy
to mount and is very secure - not mounted into drywall.
The glass shelf is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

I'm really happy with the shelf, and although it worked out ok for me, one thing you need to think about when you get this is that it needs to be on a stud, so when you mount your tv make sure a stud is center of the tv or else your shelf will be off to the side and look stupid or you'll have you use drywall anchors which I don't feel would work well for this product do to the distance it come out from the wall and hence the torque that is applied to the fasteners.Customer Review: great component shelf

This component shelf is attractive and very sturdy! The arm on the shelf has a "swing" motion so that it can be moved.
We needed the shelf to move for a television that faces the kitchen table or the cooking area a 180 degree turn, so the satellite box also needed to move.
This shelf is certainly strong enough to hold more than one component box, If I ever need another component shelf I will purchase another OmniMount shelf.

This shelf is wonderful and just what I wanted and needed. The only failing point is with respect to installation - I have still not been able to get the piece attached that is supposed to hold and hide the cords. It may be that I have too many cords, but I have tried everything and they should fit (there are only 4), but it just won't close over them and so it is just hanging there instead of flush with the wall as the pictures suggests it should.Customer Review: Everthing you need in a Component Shelf.

I purchase (2) of these shelfs for my bedroom. I wanted to relocate my Sat Receiver and PS3 to my closet. I could have build a shelf by going to Home Depot. But I wanted to kick it up a knotch and reallt do it in style. I can't tell you just how great this unit looks. Everthing about it works great. Need room for big components....done...need a shelf built like a tank....done. This is well worth my money and it's only take minutes to assemble.
