Customer Review: USB vs Car, who wins?

Who thought it would ever happen, my ATV OCZ USB actually got ran over by a car (accidently). It should be noted that the warranty on the USB does not cover physical damage caused by the user so i'm screwed right now.
The damage caused by the USB, as far as i can tell, is that the USB connector is bent in pretty significantly, but not enough so that its not fixable. Its probably possible to bend back in place, but i doubt it would fit perfectly into a USB slot ever again. And the cap was on when it was ran over. The main body appears to be undamaged besides a few scuff marks. So if I could bend it back into place myself, I could probably get the data back. It was less durable than i had expected, but not enough to handle a car.
This USB is also waterproof. That is handy because if it gets dirty you can just wash it (cap on). There are reviews online where water gets inside the connector and after drying out still works, however i wouldn't want to risk that myself.
Other aspects of this USB is great. Its very fast and look very cool. The cap holder makes it unique and is practical, kinda. The speed reads depends on the machine apparently but on my machine, I got a 28MB/s read and 11MB/s write using USBdeview. These are very good speeds for a drive of this cost.
--- There is a review of this USB online where some guy completely froze his USB, broke it out of the ice, and immediately ran it over his car while frozen. It survived unscathed while mine did not survive. The reason is because after recently being frozen, the rubber probably was just about rock hard and so didn't give in to the crushing force of a car. However mine, was not frozen because i live in the hot South Florida. So unless you live somewhere that can instantly freeze a USB, expect some damage when it is ran over by a car.
