I bought my wife an Asus 1000HE. I didn't go for the ram upgrade on that computer. I liked hers so much that I also bought one for myself. But I went for the 2gig upgrade. It does make it faster! It's easy to tell since they are exactly the same model.
The installation is easy. I'm going to upgrade hers now too. It's cheap now so go for it!

I bought this 2 gig RAM for my new ASUS 1002ha netbook. Followed all the instruction on installation, given on this site.
It did not work!
Called a friend and found my newby mistake. RAM card was not seated fully. Reseated RAM card and guess what? Netbook working like a west side hooker!

This RAM does not function properly in the Eee PC 901. It causes the machine to "freeze" when the power is plugged in. For more information on this problem, see the EeeUser Forum. Update: Upon further investigation, this RAM does not properly sync when the Eee PC 901 switches power modes. In other model laptops, it functions well.

I love OCZ memory. This module greatly increased the performance of my Eee PC. I run casual games, e-mail, and business applications mostly, but with this increase in memory I've been able to run several "modern" titles at playable resolutions. The installation was a breeze and the price is definitely right! No problems, great product!Customer Review: It works!

I insstalled this 2 GB memory in my Asus 1000H/XP. I did not have to change the BIOS settings or anything else. The unit came up and recognized the increase. Speed improvements are noticable with multiple windows open or editing large image files. Task Manager indicates the system is no longer accessing the drive as virtual memory.
