Summary: 3 Stars
Unless you never loose the paper that comes with it that tells you where all the phrases are, you'll be searching for a while to find the phrase you're looking for. It is nifty that it pronounces things for you, and that is probably the only advantage it has over a small travel translating book you can find at probably any airport to where you're going. I used mine for a little while once arriving in Italy, and it's a little helpful for asking questions...The problem though with asking questions is YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE ANSWERS. Kinda defeats the purpose?
If you don't loose the little index piece of paper, this could come in handy. After that, it's a goose hunt. The time feature is sorta nifty, where you can select any place in the world to find out what time it is there, and set it to show that time. It does probably sit in your pocket a lot easier than a book as well. But personally, travel book is just easier.
