Customer Review: Poor Quality
Summary: 1 Stars

I have been a sucker for these headphones over the past three years. In that time I have owned five pair, each time hoping that the quality issue was just a fluke. Instead, each pair dies after about two months or roughly 30 runs. I run short distances (3-5 miles) every other day and have never put extraordinary pressure on the headphones. I notice however that the input plug quickly wears out causing the headset to short out. If the input plug lasts, the left or right headphone will die leaving you running in mono. I broke my last pair and will need to find a replacement that has some durability and better quality.

Customer Review: poor fit
Summary: 2 Stars

Nike ( the sports giant ) gets an "F" in engineering for these behind the back ear-phones. The plastic is too pliable and does not lock the ear buds to the ears and will slip out. Not recommended if you sweat heavily or run a 1/2 or full marathon when the temps are around 70 degrees. I am glad these are the back up to the back up ear-phones I use for working out and running.

The sound, weight and the over-all cosemetics is good. The cable running from center in the back is a great idea! But for functionality during a heavy sweaty workout, it's a dud.

I'll stick to my Sennheiser PMX 70.

Customer Review: Great design; terrible durability
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these specifically for running. I found that the design is great and unlike many other headphones I've had, they don't fall out of my ears when I'm on the road. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the left speaker failed. Thinking it was a fluke, I exchanged them for another pair. Less than a month later, the same thing happened. After reading other reviews, this seems to be par for the course.

I don't blame you if you're lured in by the reasonable price and stylish design, but don't be surprised when the left speaker dies on you way too soon.

Customer Review: Just too flimsy
Summary: 2 Stars

I agree with many others--comfortable, lightweight, great for running, but unacceptably fragile. I just gambled on pair #3 since my last pair went bad in about 10 weeks. I don't abuse these things, being experienced with their fragility. This time, immediately after removing from the packaging, I plugged them into my MP3 player and jiggled the cord a bit to test them. I got static and shorting effect in both channels. This pair is going back immediately for a refund. It's really too bad the quality is this poor, because I like the design a lot. Guess I'll try the Sennheisers.

Customer Review: Poor sound, not confortable but resist to moisture
Summary: 2 Stars

This product is not very well designed and looks better in pictures than in your ears. It does keep coming out of the ears while running and the sound is really not great... You need to really increase the volume to get average to poor sound.... it is not comfortable and is ineffective in noisy gym environment. It does however resist to moisture and sweat.... I ordered sennheiser adidas pmx 680 running model and the difference is all there... world apart from this useless nike headphones.... really recommend the adidas pmx 680... and it is also cool looking....
