Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Nextop-2 Packs Nikon EN-EL9 Brand New 1800mAh COMPATIBLE Battery for Nikon D40, D40x, D60Customer Review: Long lasting, no problems! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased these batteries over a year ago and used them daily in my Nikon D-60. I used them in a Targus battery grip. I have both these batteries and the Nikon. No problems with either. These batteries last about 100 photos more than the Nikon battery. In the Targus battery grip, I get over 1800 photos between charge. Don't use flash much but when I did, still lasted over 1000 shots.

One of the two batteries was DOA. Contacted seller and a working replacement was sent to me right away without any hassle. Since seller is willing to fix their errors, there's no risk in getting these "off-brand" batteries. If you're unlucky enough to get a dead one, they'll replace it easy enough so order with confidence. The batteries seem to work perfectly in my D5000.
Customer Review: Two for $25 and you get nearly twice the life Summary: 5 Stars
How can you say no to something like that. These both perform flawlessly in my D5000. I sadly haven't tested the endurance of either as I would run out of memory before that, but they both stood up to a days worth of camera sitting on while ambling around this past weekend. No complaints at all.
Quick shipping from the vendor too. Deliver in four days.

I almost purchased the genuine Nikon batteries for fear that these wouldn't work well. Boy was I wrong, these are great and they last quite a while longer than the factory battery. They also hold their charge well. I left one in my bag for two weeks in 100+ temperatures, and when I loaded it into the camera it still had a full charge. Buy these with confidence.
Customer Review: Duds Summary: 1 Stars
While Nikon Brand Batteries are ridiculously expensive, at least they work. These substitutes didn't work for me. One never took a charge, the other only took a couple charges then quit. The one that took a charge required endless wiggling in the charger before it would activate. I'll try something different next time.
