I purchased this camera strap for for my Nikon D700, for everyday use, I am an event photographer and my cameras follow me on my hikes. I needed something durable, functional and secure. This strap has satisfied all of my requirements.
It is well constructed with heavy stitching on the doubled nylon straps and strong metal fasteners (clips and 'D' rings, so far it has not shown any wear from lugging my heavy camera. I often use it with my NG Medium Explorer Backpack, as the clips secure to the 'D' rings and take the load off of the neck and distribute it through the shoulder straps. In a pinch the clips can be removed from the neck strap and be used as a makeshift wrist strap (although not reccomended for a weak heart and uninsured camera.)
The neckstrap has three rows of rubber stitching and has yet to slip off of my shoulder while on the job or trail. The swivels on the ends of the clips are a nice feature, which keeps the strap from becoming twisted while walking or drawing the camera for a shot. I use the two pockets for holding my extra media cards, they are a perfect fit for SD cards in a case but are a bit tight for my CF cards (but not unuseable.)
The only criticisms that I have for this product are that I would have liked to see snaps instead of Velcro for the media card pockets (personal preference,) and I would like to see other colors offered. While I prefer earth-tones such as the Khaki, it doesn't go well with a suit.
