Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of National Geographic NG 2475 Earth Explorer Medium Shoulder BagCustomer Review: My best bag yet Summary: 5 Stars
It is a little more of a satchel or whatever, than just a camera bag. I just love it. There is a nice spot to put the camera and another lens in the padded pouch. Next to it, is plenty of room to put my 80-200mm f2.8 (nikon), which i usually keep in its own case anyway. There are four small pockets, roughly 6x6 in size. They are bog on the inside too, since the bag isnt stiff. Perfect for cleaning items (leans cleaner, spray, Giottos Rocket), in another pocket i keep my spare battery and remote control. That leaves me two more pockets yet for other small items, circular polarizer, etc. Then there are two separate "slots" such that would be used for a laptop, and the other a notebook or few. You can keep pens and such in the other pockets easily too. I This is my favorite bag, but havnt done much with it yet, other than load it, but it is a good size for carrying around whatever you need nicely.
I got mine on ebay for less than half the suggested retail, including shipping. I would buy it all over again.

Customer Review: A Good Multi Purpose Bag Summary: 4 Stars
The bag is well made and very practical for day trips. The downside for me is that the bag is much larger than I wanted and the National Geo logo on the front of the bag distracts from the bag's appearance. The logo makes the bag look like it was complimentary gift for attending a National Geo event or conference.
The bag is large enough for 1-2 SLRs, extra lens, gadgets and a small laptop. I wanted a bag just for my photo adventures (SLR & extra lens). I have ordered the small bag and will use the medium bag as my carry-on bag for air travel. It would have been helful if the bag had been pictured with a person or with a camera.
I am very interested to see how the light weight kemp fabric wears compared to the heavy canvas Donke bags which I used previously.
Overall a good buy especially if you are looking for a photo equipment plus bag!
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
I just got this bag and I have to say I was worried when I read the other reviews however if you are a little creative this is easily the product for you. This is rated to only hold a 13inch laptop, that only matters if you put it in the designated laptop sleeve. I have a 15inch macbook pro and since I don't use the laptop sleeve I just put it in the back and use the sleeve to store other things it holds my laptop fine. The bag is padded enough that I don't worry about it being broken even when not in the sleeve. I also have a Canon Rebel with a 75-300 lens attached. With enough room for two more lens in the bag. Plus room for tons of other peripherals including a laptop, battery charger, harddrive, and many many other things. This has a lot more space than I first expected when reading the other reviews and this will definitely become my permanent bag.
Customer Review: Quite Perfect For Me! Summary: 5 Stars
Finding the perfect camera bag is like finding the perfect mate. It's a painful, expensive, and trecherous ordeal. But so rewarding when you finally find the right one. For me this bag is it. Be a good shopper and read the less than glowing reviews because they do have a point, this is not an easy bag to use. Which works well for me as I frequently travel with a camera and it's big battery grip attached. And my laptop. And a ton of other stuff. Everything fits and is easy to access. Once you get the bag opened. That is the bag's oddest feature, the way it opens. When it's closed everything is safe and secure and nobody can reach in and grab anything while you're not looking. Not even you. Great for traveing. Once you're in shooting mode and have it open it's a joy to use. Happy shooting!
Customer Review: Great buy Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this product to house my new Pentax SLR. The bag has plenty of room for my camera bod along with two lens and filters. The area meant to hold a laptop is a little too small to comfortably hold mine, but I use the space instead to hold a journal I use to keep records of photo shoots. I live in a pretty cold and rainy place, and the bag works very well to keep the water off my supplies. All and all, the bag was an excellent buy and I would definitely recommend it. The only thing I can think to complain about is that the bag seems to be heavier in the front and tends to slouch over and sometimes even fall over on its side: This however is only annoying and not a significant problem.
