Our cat had a urinary tract infection and peed everywhere. Once the infection cleared, she kept doing it (out of spite, I think). I dosed the carpet and the tile with Urine Gone and the house smells great now. It's been 24 hours and she hasn't made a puddle.
There is a refill kit available without buying the black light again and again at "the official Urine gone website"

I have a new dog that is not quite house trained. I went to my local Target and got a bottle of this stuff. I used the black light and sprayed the areas where my dog had had a few accidents. I followed the directions on the package and the next day looked at the spots again with the black light. No difference! This stuff is a total waste of money! I am going to get mine back!!! This stuff works great, However, you really need to soak the area with the product to get the best results. The spray bottle just doesn't do it. I have to pour it onto the stain, getting it really wet. I didn't use the black light, as I could see where my stain is. I have tried EVERYTHING and this is the only product that makes a dent on the pee stains from our pug.Customer Review: It works fine!

I have a new puppy that has had a few accidents in our new house. I got this product, and using the blacklight (which needs to be done in a DARK room, people!) the spots showed up fine from waist height. The product doesn't completely remove the evidence from the blacklights view, but the visible stains and odors are gone. I'll buy a refill...Customer Review: It Actually Works!

For the last 3 years, we have had a large urine stain on our beige carpet from when our dog was a puppy. I figured I would try this product before I finally replaced the rug. I was absolutely amazed at how well it worked. The entire stain is completely gone! The blacklight was useless, but our kids are having fun with it.
