Customer Review: RIPOFF! Never worked properly / wanted me to pay shipping!

If I could, I would give this scale (and this entire experience) ZERO stars. This scale never worked from Day 1. First, it wouldn't even turn on. I had to keep playing around with the batteries in order for it to do so. Finally, when it decided to turn on, the numbers were jumping around all over the place. I had to keep turning it on, then off, then taking the batteries out, and putting them back in....and even then - the weight was off by a number of ounces each time! What a waste of money, time, and energy. There's no way I could actually USE this scale for my business!Worst of all, the supplier (QUICK SUPPLY) wanted me to pay return shipping for their DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, and I refused. WILL NEVER BUY THIS CHEAP PIECE OF JUNK AGAIN, and will never buy from this supplier again!Customer Review: Good, but does not zero out

The scale is designed pretty good, with a detachable face plate and easy to read numbers. It is also nice that you can change the weight increments from OZ, Lbs, KG, ...
BUT... Two problems.
One, the scale does not zero out properly when you first turn it on (even if you click the zero button). You have to put something on the scale and take it off. You will then see that it only goes down to 1.4 oz or so. THEN, you can click the zero button.
Two, once you do zero it out, it constantly bounces between -0.5 to 0.5 OZ. So if you are weighing something really light it is difficult to get an accurate reading.
Seems like the number one requirement of a scale, is that it can start at zero.

I ordered this in black but instead I got a silver. Oh well, I'm not too picky on that but I just thought the black looked so much cooler! Anyway, this scale works great. I didn't know that batteries and/or adapter were sold separately, so I ended up ordering an adapter here on amazon after receiving the scale. If I had known in the first place, I would've ordered both together on combined shipping. I guess that didn't bother me too much, but if this were an item I had needed asap and for frequent use, I probably would've been pissed off a bit. The adapter I got works great and I like using this rather than batteries! I will be sending out more orders in the future here and I can't wait to put this scale more into action! I bought the UltraShip Postal Scale to use as a measuring device for liquids that I weight by the gram.
The scale works well, seems durable and well made and would certainly cover most postal and food measuring requirements.
The issue I have is that the scale only measures gram weights in even amounts. So if you weight something that is 25 grams, the scale flips between 24 and 26 grams.
I wish I would have known the scale is not capable of measuring in 1 gram increments because I really needed a scale with more precision.
The scale I got was silver with blue display. The readout is clear and easy to read. If you don't need to measure in 1 gram increments, this is a nice scale.

This is a great little scale. It very accurate (I checked what it measured with the post office scale on several occasions). It is small, so it fits anywhere. I have been using for several years on the original set of batteries with almost daily use.
I like that it can give read out from letters which are under 1 oz to up to packages that are 55 pounds. It can handle large packages, and you can remove the digital read out if your package is too large for you to see the read out when the package is placed on the scale.
This scale saved me a lot of time standing in line in the post office. It saved me a lot of money driving to the post office. It covers all my needs. I am a big fan of this little scale.
