Customer Review: You Want Bluetooth...buy these
Summary: 5 Stars

I have bought every bluetooth stereo headphone on the market, and these are the best sound quality I have found. Bass is great, which is hard to find in the small Sony phones. Push button, it finds your Ipod or computer, and you are rocking out. Very comfortable to wear, and they fit tight enough so that the music really enter the auditory canal. If you buy any other bluetooth headphones, as of 10/31/10, except for these, you will buy the wrong ones. I like rock...lots of guitar, lots of bass, and lots of drums, and these are the only ones that produce it. I like them better than my Bose cord ear plugs. I have all the ones on the market (mainly because my wife wanted something smaller, and more like ear plugs, and not ear muffs...we thought the S9 would work for her, but she didnt like the way the S9 felt while she was running) She is weird, so her vote does not count. She likes the Sony HBS-I800 (which sounds like a pinched loaf unless you are listening to no count, no talent music such as the likes of Justin Beeber or however you spell his ghey azz name...no bass, tin can sounding, horrible..just like his music..so I guess if you like him and his sheety music, buy the Sony ear turds). You want ROCK, you WANT BASS, you buy these. If you dont like them, return them and find something better....but you wont because these are the best. Trust me...I'm a dentist.

Customer Review: NOT one-size-fits-all
Summary: 1 Stars

I have an iTouch with Bluetooth capability, and was so excited to get a set of Bluetooth headphones so I could skype cordlessly. These had such good ratings and such impressive features, so I got them. Boy was that a mistake!

I'm sure they've got great sound and great features, but I'll never find out. Because they're not adjustable, and I have a smaller head than, say, a professional wrestler, the back hovered a few inches off the back of my head/neck. This made all of the weight of them (which is a lot for slimline headphones) push on my ears. Very unpleasant. They're most assuredly not glasses-wearer friendly. I don't personally like having to choose between hearing music, and seeing 3 feet in front of my face, but maybe I'm alone in that. And, since they're in a continuous arc, anything--a hood, hat, my own hair--brushing against the back part (which will happen since it sticks out so far) transfers that rustling sound very loudly into my ears, overpowering the music.

My advice:

If you don't have a large head/neck, avoid them! If you wear glasses and also want to be able to see, don't get 'em! Unless you love the loud sound of rustling fabric, steer clear! But, if you've got a big head, 20/20 vision, and a passion for crinkling noises, these are probably the headphones for you!

Customer Review: Only got worse...

I was so excited to get these headphones, as the wired 'phones drive me crazy when I am jogging. I can't attest to how easy they are to pair with a Bluetooth connection, as the man in the store set them up for me. After I charged them fully, I took them out for a run the very first time, and had mixed feelings about their performance.
The next/last/pause buttons NEVER worked on them, but the volume controls seemed to be fine. After only three weeks of use (only three times a week at that, so probably 10x total), I took them out one morning and found that the volume button didn't work. I ran on anyway, and later it indicated that I had pressed the buttons (it beeps to let you know you pushed a button)and it began to adjust the volume... 27 minutes later, in fact! I had a race coming up the next time I took it out, so I tested it before the starting line up... the volume button didn't work at all, and the volume it had picked was WAY to loud to use, so I was forced to use the wired headphones for the race.
I took them back to the store, where the cashier didn't even wait for me to explain, he knew they were junk.
I would not recommend these to anyone. If only someone would release some wireless headphones that are decent. I am sure there are plenty of people who exercise who would appreciate them!

Customer Review: Don't buy these headphones which will break in less than a year
Summary: 5 Stars

My initial review was great -- I said "I really love these headphones. They are comfortable, make a quick bluetooth connection with my Ipod (just add a bluetooth dingle like Sony's and an armband Ipod holder) or anything else bluetooth, and provide good quality sound for workouts. They have their minuses -- you can't get them wet, so people with sweaty ears should not buy them, and they are not well made so if the set you get doesn't work right don't wait to return them. But there is no better set of wireless bluetooth headphones available, and it is just great to have your music with you when you run without worrying about wires. The controls on the headset are very easy to operate too."

I stick with what I said before about liking wireless headsets and easy to operate controls, but let me repeat these ARE NOT WELL MADE. My FOURTH set just broke - will no longer take a charge -- and I give up. They always break, always. Sony's headsets are more expensive, but sound just as good, and I will bet they are more durable. I would add that although these headphones are reasonably comfortable, the earpiece tends to bounce out of at least one ear when running, and you can't wear these headphones and sunglasses at the same time.

Customer Review: Ok headset but wont work at the gym
Summary: 2 Stars

I got the Motorola S9 headset to use with my iPhone 3G 3.0 at the gym and while jogging. I really wanted to like this headset but I'm just plain frustrated.

Pros:
The headset syncs easily to the iPhone 3G.
They also sync well with my Dell Studio Laptop.
The battery lasts about 3-4 hours sometimes a little more.
Sound quality is pretty good.

Cons:
BIG CON -- The headset volume controls stop working if they get even a little wet with sweat. This is a huge problem since I bought them to use at the gym and when jogging. It not that you can't adjust the volume, the volume turns all the way down or all the way up making them worthless. You can't adjust the volume or use them until they dry out completely. Tons of other people have the same problem and the problem even exists in the new S9 HD model.

Obviously, David Beckham, the spokesperon, never actually used these, cause you can't tell me that David Beckham doesn't sweat!

As long as you plan to use them just sitting still with your phone or computer, I guess their fine but don't bother if you plan to use them while exercising.
