It works for the most part. My generation Ipod touch isn't fully compatiable with it though. I have to manually change stations instead using the auto-tuning feature. Kind of sucks but at least I can scan every station instead of being limited to a few presets. Overall, when I find a clear station it works. Just have to keep it there and don't press the search station function. Also, if I don't press the pause button on my ipod it keeps on playing eventually until it dies which is a pain.Customer Review: Not wireless, didn't charge, not for my iPod!

I bought this thinking that I could use my 2nd generation iPod touch with this in my car....WRONG!!! It doesn't charge, it's not wireless, and it won't work with my style of iPod! I'm going to try and return it. But in all fairness, the description does say that it will only work with the classic iPods, you just have to look carefully to find it. And trying to return it there's a 15% re-stocking fee, they won't pay for shipping, and I won't be buying from this company/brand again.Customer Review: Useless

1st Received - Had a button broken. Did work but right arrow would not click.
2nd (Replacement) - Did not transmit the bass. I almost bought a new stereo system for my car thinking my speakers were bad, but tested the product in 5 other cars and had the same problems.
I do not recommend this product.
Me and all my family have the previous version, with manual setting. That one is excellent and I will probably buy me one more of those.

Apparently Monster has some real quality issues, this is my second bad experience with their products. Unit intermittantly stops transmitting, have to unplug to reset. Autoscan......great idea....needs more work. 120 sec to scan and you still have a busy station. Amazon was great on the return policy though, prepaid shipping.
Rec'd replacement unit from Amazon, same issues. Tried with two other iPods, no improvement. Returning for refund.

After reading reviews for this item, I was a little reluctant to purchase it. I was looking for a quality FM transmitter for my iPod and the first name to come to my mind is Monster. I have tested this transmitter in all of my vehicles and it's absolutely amazing. No hissing or distortion whatsoever. Even transmits the bass in my music. The on screen station control is great. Very easy to use even without reading the manual. Highly recommend this product.
