I picked this speaker cable up for around $30. I compared similar items at Circuit City and Best Buy and this was a great deal, given other comparable cable offerings were double to triple the price. I'm not a sound engineer but would consider myself an experienced listener of music and also an amatuer musician. The sound quality over this cable is excellent and it's hard to imagine getting better sound with a more expensive cable. I am running mid-level speakers and amp and am very pleased with the sound.Customer Review: Name Brand at Reasonable Price

Name brands may not be important to some people, or perhaps price is more important than brand. For those who look for name brands at bargain prices, this is a pretty good choice. The wire's only 16 gauge (not extremely heavy), but that should be enough for all but the most demanding uses. The insulation feels very heavy-duty and yet still very flexible. Overall, the wire is of high quality and price is not too unreasonable for about 100 FT of wire. I got exactly what I expected.Customer Review: Good and strong, but no noticeable difference in sound

I used this Monster cable to replace an ordinary speaker cable that came with my Onkyo speaker system, mainly because I needed a longer cable. My ordinary human ears could not notice any difference in sound before and after. But the cable is strong and well shielded which made it more reliable when I had to pull it around the attic, down the wall gap and through rough holes. And, the price (despite all the hype) wasn't much more than what I was expecting to pay.Customer Review: Outstanding sound quality

I have used several of Monster's products in the past, but this was my first expierence with the THX cable. The sound difference was instant and very noticable. I hooked up two speakers in my six speaker system to see if there really was a difference to justify the price and immediately was able to tell which speaker had the THX cable. The sound was far crisper, and held more depth. I highly recomend this cable, and the Monster connectors.Customer Review: monster thx speaker cable

i was worried that i would need a lower gauge going over the distances i was for my speaker set up but im very pleased with the results i got from this speaker wire. i have no background noise no interference and it sounds wonderful. only problem i had with it was that i needed about 130 feet of cable so i had to run to my local store and pay the same ammount for 30 feet in a local store than i did for 100 on amazon. ouch anyways great cable
