I like the feeling that my home theater equip.is safe from power surges now. I get them more often than I like. The last one cost me $650.00 for a power supply on my 55"plasma tv that got cooked from a power surge. The HTS 1000 MK111 displays the line voltage all the time. I purchased this last year and it works great, to protect your equipment it is worth the cost. When the power goes out and during the winter storms I was confident this outlet was protecting the equipment. I've heard other people with flat screens without the proper outlet say they have digital breaks during storms but I have not had that experienced.Customer Review: Beautiful power center

Fortunately we haven't had any major surges to test this power center, but the quality of this product is wonderful! Very solid, nice looking, heavy duty power cord and frame. It's nice to be able to see the voltage right from the digital output. Seems like it is a well made product! I would not recommend this product. I have owned it for about a year and have had 2 power outlets fail on it. Do some research and get a UPS device from APC who is knows for their surge products. This product is also very large so if you don't have much room behind the cabinet etc. review the dimensions first.Customer Review: "clean power" filter is JUNK

I got this thing because I was experiencing a hum in my stereo and also some faint horizontal interference lines on my new 46" LCD TV. This piece of garbage did not remove any of the interference and probably just made matters worse by degrading the cable signal. I knew it sounded to good to be true...
