Customer Review: Good Choice For A Good Price

This product is definately worth the money.
Cleaner power reduces visible noise in television screen images, as well as the hiss you hear coming from your speakers when you have them turned up. Also, every thing connected to this surge protector is insured to over $350,000, an amount likely to cover almost any home entertainment system that any of us non-millionaires can afford.
With that said I do have to criticisms: Firstly, although the bright blue power light is attractive and makes the HTS850 look expensive, it can be a tad on the bright side, lighting up the space behind your t.v. cabinet when you have the lights dimmed. Secondly, other than the plugs on the top and bottom, all of the plugs are located on the right side of the unit, making plugging in all of your devices a bit of a hassle, epsecially if they have large plugs.
Over all it is an excellent product which I would recommend to anyone looking to protect the entertainment investment.

The Monster Cable MPHTS850 Home Theater Power Center is a straightforward power organizer.
It is best used when mounted vertically, I installed mine on the back of the television cabinet with the power cables routed from the top, then neatly curved and plugged into the side of the power center.
There is an extension of the faceplate which overhangs the row of power outlets. This configuration works well for vertical installations where the power cables can run vertically behind the faceplate extension. I think the side connections and cover extension would be a bit clumsy if the power cables need to be routed from the front as they do on most common power strips.
Can't comment on improvements in the video or audio signals, in my installation, both were very clean before installing this power organizer/conditioner.
All in all a good unit that's well made. I would definitely buy another.

Great product, well worth the money. It definitely does what it supposed to do; all the noise I would get on the tv from the mircowave...all gone; noise through the surround speakers...gone. The picture seems more crisp, hadn't had much time watch a dvd to test it. Real easy to mount, all connections are labled, even the coax. connection, which is a little close to the side, but it still wasn't a problem to connect. Some reviews have said the light was bothersome, I have mine mounted to the wall behind my entertainment cabinet and I can hardly see a glow from it and that's with the tv off. Keeps all the clutter from power cords off the floor. Plus you have Monsters' Connected Equipment Warranty. This should be a must for anyone who wants to protect there electronics that's on a budget.Customer Review: recomendado!

Ciertamente es bastante economico, lo que no le quita en absoluto su caracter de un producto de primera linea,en caracas ciudad donde habito, son muy comunes las variaciones de corriente electrica,. pensando en mi home theater y en lo costoso de esa inversion,decidi comprar este producto y de verdad no me quejo en lo absoluto,hace el trabajo de manera maravillosa,,tiene una apariencia hermosa,viene con unas etiquetas para los cables que son magnificas para no tener un desastre de cables (igual el desastre continua pero no taaanto)lo unico que me parece incomodo es la parte del cable rg ya que es un poco angosta,pero igual eso se conecta una sola vez .

This is a great product at a great price! I bought this for my TV and entertainment center. It is very easy to use and the color coding helps organize your cables. I have noticed a reduction of electrical interference since it was installed. The best part might actually be the separate mounting bracket. Installation is very easy...just two screws. The device then just snaps onto the bracket and you are good to go. I agree that trying to screw in the coaxial cables is a real pain, but that is the only issue I see. Overall, you can't get a better product at a better price than this. I will be buying a couple more for my computer and desk.
