I bought this cable to see if I could improve the picture of a Sony DVD player that I have linked to a 27" trinitron. There is a noticeable improvement in the picture over the previous component cable that I was using. Not sure of the brand, but pretty sure I got previous ones from Walmart.
The Monster cable makes the colors much more vibrant.
I ordered the Monster cable from ProCablesDirect for about $18. Got them in 2 days. Very pleased.

I highly recommend monster products. If you've spent any money on your stereo, you'll need to connect it all with quality components. Any sound system is only as good as it's weakest link, and the interconnects shouldn't be cheaped out. Monster as a rule makes high quality stuff, though i don't suggest buying a $100 cable you'll most likely not hear any difference between it and a $20 cable.
Unless of course you've spent BMW money on your stereo system.

I bought these cables thinking there would be some sort of improvement over the normal A/V cable where the is only 1 cable for video and 2 for audio. I have a 46" Samsung, but currently I am only watching Standard Definition. Maybe these cables do their job for HD, but there they are no better than the cheap A/V. This also could be from the signal or box from Charter. Ill have to try it with my DVD player and see if there is a difference.Customer Review: Work Well

These work very well with connecting my Sony DVD player to Panasonic Plasma. Picture quality is good, as expected. Amazon had a good price and delivered them free of charge in a reasonable amount of time. My only concern is that the plastic covering/shielding on the ends of the cables is a little thick, and because my DVD player's outputs are very close to each other, the cables barely fit.Customer Review: I do see a difference

Well was kinda of skeptical about ordering component cables, well figured the rca cables i was using was doing a fine job. well thats all they where doing , was a fine job, once i hooked up these cables to my dvd player i saw a big difference, picture was much cleaner looking all the way around. kinda glad i did some research on component to rca video cables now.
