I purchased this light to use with my Kindle........for some reason I have a problem reading with it due to the gray background, but this little light has eliminated my problem. I like to read in bed and without this light I wouldn't be able to do it. I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but for now I'm enjoying my Kindle and hope to for quite a while.
Update:
Well, it's now Jan. 31st, and my light is still shining brightly, use it quite often, and did discover how to replace the batteries when needed, but so far it's working as good as the day I got it. Still love it.....

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It arrived quickly. When I first opened it and turned it on (in the daylight), I thought "What's the big deal? It's a booklight. No different than the one I bought [...]." But when I used it that night ... I have to admit, it really is significantly brighter than other book lights that I've bought. I like it a lot. The only thing that could be improved is the on/off button placement. When I adjust the light, I find myself unintentionally turning it off. Then, it takes several clicks to get it back to the intensity that I wanted. Still, it's a keeper.Customer Review: AWESOME!!!!

I have purchased MANY book lights in the past, but never have I owned one that was actually bright enough to read by. I usually keep moving the light around and around and around so I can see the page . I ordered the power adapter but it hasn't arrived yet, I am using 3 AAA batteries and this is a awesome light. It has 2 lights in the head you can use both or just one, the light spreads across both pages of a paperback in either mode one light or two, I haven't tried a hard cover book yet, but I really don't think this light will have any problem at all. Very Very Bright. I definitely recommend this light .Customer Review: excellent for reading anywhere!

I love this product - this is my 3rd booklight from MightyBright - they are good quality and affordable. Shipped quickly and works great - highly recommnend it plus I find I use it for more than just reading books - I aatach it to my laptop desk lip and shine it on the keyboard when I'm surfing at night and my boyfriend is sleeping. The flexible neck and teh LED (as aopposed to incandescent bulbs) are wondeful. Also used it as a flashlight. I use it with the AC adapter so never have to buy batteries unless you're taking it camping or something. One of the neatest most used things I've ever purchased.Customer Review: At Last, One I like

This is the best reading light I have bought and I have bought at least five. Most are not bright enough, this is. I use it so my reading will not disturb my wife. I don't need it to be super small and mostof the time I have it connected to an ac outlet so battery use is not an issue. When I have used the batteries they have given good service.
Seems light most manufacturers do not understand their market and think they have to be sub-miniature to appeal. That would be fine if they had enough light. This one works for me...would I change anything? Yes butnot woth mentioning here.
