I bought the Mighty Bright Flex 2 for use with my Kindle. It is extremely light, almost weightless. The light comes with two bulbs so you can adjust brightness by turning on just one, or both, which is really a nice feature, and it lights up the Kindle page beautifully and evenly, without bothering those around me who might be trying to sleep or watch TV etc.
I use rechargeable AAA batteries (X3), so when they get low I just swap them out with the 3 extra batteries I keep in the charger. No worries! The neck of the lamp is very flexible, easily adjusted, yet holds it's position well once placed. It also makes a handy flashlight as I trudge to bed with my Kindle after a busy day (thus avoiding waking up my better half).
The shade on the Mighty Bright is quite minimal so it is hard to adjust it in such a way that I can't see any part of the bulb head on, but with a bit of work it's possible (thought barely). But that would be the only downside I could think of. Other than that it works beautifully. Best book light I have tried so far.

I bought this light along with the black kindle cover, as it not only protects it during travel, I find it reads more like a book and of course the light can clip onto the cover. The light has a high and a low setting so you can adjust that as needed, although I find I'm only really using the low setting. The very best feature is the adjustability of the light to ensure it does not create a glare on the screen as you change positions, which is ideal for those of us that read in all different positions (sitting, laying down, on my side laying down, etc). The only negative on the light is the bulkiness of the clip. I don't really find it bothers me or gets in the way when I'm reading, but traveling with it is when I notice the bulkiness. I've seen other lights around that have a more slimlined clip. I could see this clip being useful for a thick book and it would hold pages back if you desired but in conjunction with the kindle it could be slimmer as it only needs to attach to the cover. This is about being able to read when, and where you want. The Kindle is a really good product, I carry mine around most of the time. Most of the time I can read with ambient light. But, what to do about those inadequate lights on trains, planes and automobiles? When I saw the clip-on light for the Kindle, I thought, "here is the solution for low light situations." Mostly that is true.
It easily clips on to the Kindle, It pretty much stays where you place it, and it provides that "extra bit of light," needed for those twilight times. It is easy to turn on or off. It is easy to adjust so that there is no glare from the light bulbs on the screen.
The downside; very small, it does need a little more horsepower, at least for me, but then I am near 75, so age may have something to do with it.
My recommendation, I like it, I can read in areas of low, or no light. I think it is a little pricey, but for me it works, and isn't that the bottom line.

I received one of these a few days ago and my verdict is that I am likely to use it when reading books at night.
Brief overview:
- 2 super-bright LED's with lenses
- light has more blue and very little red, or yellow (think of a steady neon light)
- uses 3 (THREE) AAA batteries
- 40-hour battery life (claim is made on the package, not verified by me)
- power supply not provided
- relatively long, flexible arm
- can turn on 1 or 2 LED's
- solid build
- a bit heavy but had no problem using it with a paperback
I will definitely use this lamp when reading books at night. I doubt I will ever use it as a flashlight or a work light unless I had no other choice.
Update 3 weeks later: I am very happy with this lamp and I am now considering ordering a few more for my 2 boys as they are sharing the bedroom and, sometimes, one of them wants to read at night.
P.S. - didn't have to replace the batteries yet.
