These walkie talkies might work in a REALLY open area, but i couldnt even get 2 miles out of these in an area with lots of houses and trees. Theres no way you would get 20 miles. If theres any sort of obstructions, they are basically worthless.
Also, if you give one to a friend, theres only one charger, so its really inconvenient because they cant charge their individually, however it does take normal alkaline batteries.
