I think these are great radios because they go very long but not 26 miles.
Also because they have a built-in NOAA Weather radio and that could come in handy. They have 22 channels, a long battery life, battery
packs and charger. Although they are very expensive. Usually I use them
with my friends when I am outside and they are inside.

I bought this for my kids to be able to roam around the baseball or football fields and still be in contact with me. It is easy to use once it is set up but I found it a little difficult to set up. this set of walkie talkies are very good, much better than the ones i had.i haven't tested them for a real long range but they work fine at 8 miles although i was elevated and had a straight shot to the one i was talking to.they also work fine anywhere in the small town i live in anywhere i've tried them and in the surrounding area.Customer Review: Work well, not waterproof

I bought these recently to use at the beach. One thing I did not pay attention to when ordering was that these are not waterproof/resistant. If I were to do it again, I would look for a water resistant set.
They work well, but contact must be made without trees or hills in the way to cover any distance.

I bought for use it in Disney and Universal and works perfect, very clear in open spaces. Some problems, that I expected in this radios is for communication in the city, the distance is very low (I think is no longer than 1 mile)
Maybe I expect more duration of the batteries but for the whole day is enough
