Midland 1001Z 2-Way CB Radio
First I would like to say that I am very pleased with the performance of my new Midland CB. It works as well and much better than most, if not all, CB's I have ever owned or used and all this for a little over $25. It seems to have much better receptation over a longer distance than my previous CB and the receptation is clear. To me, this was a real buy at $25.95. The best for the least.
Second, I was very impressed and pleased with Amazon's service. My original order was shipped using the U.S. Postal Service and lost (probably stolen). After it was a few days late in delivery, I emailed Amazon and within minutes, they replied that they were shipping a replacement using UPS 2 day delivery. I had expected a long delay and perhaps a hassle in getting the radio after it disappeared in the USPS system, but this was not the case at all.

I've owned a few Midland products and I feel that they have a good reputation and quality for what I use them for. This radio is not installed yet, because I haven't decided where to put it in the car. I'll let you know how things turn out.Customer Review: Awesome cb!

Went to the desert recently and purchased this to keep in contact with a fairly large group and i have to say this cb does the job well worth the money spent for this. The antenna used was a lil wil and i got some really good reception from a good distance away. I highly reccommend this cb radio best price around. I also attached a midland pa speaker which works really good with this setup. Customer Review: Good deal in a small package

Bought this CB for trail use. I like that it is compact so it is easy to find a mounting place. It works well and I have had no problems out of it. If you want a simple CB in a small package, this is the one for you.
