Customer Review: Terrible design - not intuitive - not stable

The two goals of any headset worn for a mobile environment are stability and reliability. Stability means the headset won't come off in the field. This one is difficult to get into position, not intuitive of how it should be worn in the first place, and once in place is so loose that you can't trust it won't fall off. For example, if I rate a Nokia bud headset as a 5 stars for getting into position and staying in place during use, this headset gets a 1 star (or less). That's a shame, because the sound quality of the headset is not bad at all, but certainly not worth more that $10 - $15 (even if it stayed in place).
I suspect Midland bought this design from a third party and didn't do any user tests themselves.
By the way, if you need two or more of these headsets, you might as well by a FRS/GMRS radio pack, since they come free with the radio pack:
