This mouse is VERY affordable, and I like the fact that it is more efficient. I hardly have to clean it at all, and there is no crumby ball to get dirty!
Please note that if you have pets like I do (three cats), check the bottom every once in a while. If fur or large fuzzies get trapped, your cursor looks like it's spazzing out. Pretty funny actually!
I do wish it had a quieter scroll-wheel, but the buttons click quiety enough for my liking :)

I play video games and all i can say is that this mouse is so perfect to aim on a first shooter game, you should ask those very good players what type of mouse they're using and i bet they will say microsoft.
i had two more white mouses same model since 2003 and it lasted forever because i gave it away and i decided to buy a black one just for the looks of my desktop.
I recommend this mouse for all types of use, except drawing of course.

Bought 2 - same lot per packages but one has a funky right click (slow response). Despite pic this is NOT a right handed mouse; the contour is identical on both sides. Is USB but comes with USB to PS/2 connector that *actually* works as such (YEAH! and I can use it as an USB when I upgrade!). I'd give it a five except for the funky mouse which my husband (who doesn't use a right click as much as I do) has volunteered to use (isn't he a prince?).Customer Review: I'm using it now

This is great but makes sure you adjust it by going into its properties on your control panel.
I can use this on my leg or my wrinkly sheet and it's spot on. Also, the red light will stay on as long as the computer is on and gets brighter if you use the mouse. Easy to find in the dark.
Also, the mouse's scroll button is completely silent.
Very good price for a real and functional mouse.

I purchased this optical mouse and have been extremely, extremely pleased with it. I love how it performs, and I also like it's appearance as well. It is very comfortable to use, and I have not had one problem with it yet. I believe that it is an terrific optical mouse, especially for how much it costs--it is quite a good value. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a affordable optical mouse.
