Customer Review: What I needed, but a little awkward

This camera is small and of a great quality. The only reason I mark it down one star is because the Windows Live button is very easy to accidentally push, when moving or adjusting the camera... I don't use Windows Live or Messenger, and this camera is being used on my work computer, so it's rather awkward to me. Though, I was able to simply uninstall the messenger program and it seems to have taken care of the issue.
Overall though, the picture quality is good, the audio quality is good, and I'm quite happy with my camera.

The one thing that bothers me about these web cams is that the resolution of the web cam is 640x480 and it is specifically for the windows live messenger but when you are doing video chat in windows live messenger there is know way to increase the resolution beyond 320x240 which is really annoying since you cant make the video full screen with out it being very blurry and the frame rate is not very high either even on a fast connection with fast upload and download speeds on both ends but other then that it works alright and sets up easyCustomer Review: Mixed review

We bought one for ourselves and one for my parents who live out of state so they can see their grandkids. Ours installed fine, but my parents are still having difficulties. For some reason Internet Explorer doesn't want to work on their Windows based computer. They have been using Firefox because of the problem. This wouldn't be a problem, but the Lifecam is a Microsoft product and requires Explorer. Here we are a month after Christmas and we still haven't been able to use it so I can't give any more of a review.Customer Review: Pleasantly Surprised

I ordered one of these web cams first from a different retailer a few weeks back; and was very pleased at how easily the software installed, and how well it integrates with Windows Live (MSN) Messenger. Picture quality is very good, and built in mic works well too. I now cam with friends overseas - the perfect solution.
I liked it so well - I ordered another one from Amazon to use with my laptop, so I won't have to keep moving it around. Also works with all applications, including Windows Movie Maker.

This was my first purchase of this kind. I did not know what to expect once I received it, but found that it was simple and basic. Step by step instructions made it quick and painless to install. I bought my mom a Logitech and she's had nothing but problems getting it hooked up to her computer. This webcam has a focus option, tilt, one button connect and the picture is wonderful with it's clearity and color! I am considering buying another for my mom instead of what she has and would recommend this one to anybody!
