I'm happy with this camera. I got it for video conferences with my parents so they can see their grandchildren. The video quality over high-speed DSL is pretty good. The sound quality is ok. The room should be quiet otherwise too much background noise causes interference. I've had connection problems using Windows Live Messenger (sometimes I get bump off). Not sure why but it hasn't been a major problem. If you use Windows Live Messenger you'll need to set up a hotmail account. The software that comes with it is also pretty good. It allows you to save video, pictures or audio files directly to a file. Good choice for a budget webcam.Customer Review: great product!

I ordered this cam a week ago,ive used it 2 days now, and i am happy with it. the only thing is that, if you have the new window's vista, the cd that comes with the cam, dosent work. you have to go directly to microsoft's website, and download the software. the cam arrived earlier than they said it would. the company was very good at sending quickly. the cam show's very clear. this is the best cam i've owned. i found this cam on this site for $14.99 in new condition, you cant beat that! i would recommend this product to other's who are looking for a good quality cam,and dont want to spend alot of money.Customer Review: Great camera for the cost!

I bought this back in 08 and it still doing its job! Has pretty good picture resolution even in darker settings. Great sound, only lags when the internet connectivity is slow like in Iraq and Afghanistan, but other than that I have no complains about it! Easy to set up and put away, stays on laptops fairly well as long as you aren't moving all over the place. Would recommended for anyone with laptops or PC's with Windows Vista or Windows XP which is what I had when I bought it and what I have now, but works better with Windows Messenger than with Yahoo Messenger, haven't tried it with anything else.Customer Review: Easy Setup, Good Video Picture

We are moving across country, so I bought this video camera as a gift for my father so that we can stay in touch through Skype. I had it shipped directly to him and told him to give me a call when it arrived so I could help him set it up.
After it arrived, he called and said he had it ready to go - it was that easy to set up. We connected via Skype and everything worked great. I'm running a MacBook Pro with a built-in camera, so the video isn't as great as what I'm used to seeing but for the price, it deserves five stars.

The installation of this webcam is no problem. Very easy and comes with the Live Messenger v8.1 . Resolution is pretty good but not the best. It's a very cool design that can either clip onto a laptop screen or sit on a desk.
The bad things - The resolution could be better. the microphone is a little weak (ex. you wouldn't be able to step very far away from your computer and at times may have to talk a little louder). The software does take a while to install - long enough to make me wonder what was being put on my computer.
