Customer Review: Even better than the Commodore 64!

I hope someone reading this review is old enough to know what that means.
Simply put, this keyboard is EXCELLENT for touch typists (I am) who pound the daylights out of their keys (I do.) It is solid, well put together, and VERY comfortable. I'm someone who types 8-10 hours a day, and I need a keyboard that can keep up with me.
This one does that, to be sure. Works pretty well with my Mac, too. I wil say that if you want to use it with multiple computers, make sure to get a USB-based KVM switch, as it will NOT work with a KVM switch when used with the PS2 adapter.

I would have rated this keyboard much higher because I love all the shortcuts, but I have NEVER seen letters wear off so fast (like 3 months)! I have short, natural nails, and am not using any cleaners other than compressed air. I use several different keyboards on a regular basis, yet this is the only one whose "home row" has completely disappeared. (I tried replacement stickers; don't bother.) I purchased it in 2008, so it could be that newer ones do not have this problem, but though I am in the market for a new keyboard at this point, I will not be buying this model again.Customer Review: Easy To Use, Pleasure To Work With.

Being only a semi-computer-literate senior citizen, I was a little scared when it arrived. I thought with all its features, it might be beyond me, or that I might use only a portion of its capability. WRONG!! From the moment I put its communicator into a USB port, it almost seemed to help me along as I explored its possibilities. The "F lock" was most useful. I was very pleased with the "My Favorites" tool, and am using it every time I log on. Delivery was timely and undamaged. The Keyboard, with its optional palm rest is simply better than any I have used. Thanks, Amazon!Customer Review: nice features... GREAT for the price

There are some bells and whistles on this keyboard that I don't use (like the favorites buttons), though there are some that I find useful or at least fun. (like the zoom feature, and the quick folder buttons.
mainly I use this for basic computing... minimal games, music (listening, editing and creating), then the basic typing for documents and/or web design... works great for what I need it for. for basic home or office use, this is great. If you're big into gaming, either stick with a specific gaming board, or use this to switch off to for the basic stuff.

Bought this keyboard for it's great/many reviews and it has lived up to them so far. I've had it for about a month now and everything's still working fine, keys are still quiet even after having written several lengthy papers. Very nice to have the wrist support and it's great having the hotkeys (especially the music ones that actually work with iTunes!). The Zoom slider isn't all that great (was hoping it'd do something along the lines of Mac's magnify feature) because there's no option to go back to original size after zooming in/out and it's not smooth.
