Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Microsoft 15.6" Neoprene Laptop SleeveCustomer Review: Fits great Summary: 5 Stars
I have a Sony Vaio VPC-EB15FX and this bag fits perfect. Like it was made for it. I bought this bad and a case logic that I also liked. The case logic didn't fit well but fit my wifes Dell Inspiron great so she got that one.
This bag internally, has a foam modified egg crate material. This provides superior protection over just flat sponge rubber slabs. Light in weight, zippers are smooth and strong and the handles are strong, comfortable and don't buckle the case....engineered well. The handles also fold to the sides to easily slip the whole unit into a backpack or messenger bag.
I made a good buy as I couldn't find this locally and took a chance. Good decision...
Customer Review: Warning! Weak Bottom! Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this about six months ago. Loved it. Used it just about every day. But now it is about to be junked, as the bottom is just a layer of thin neoprene with no support, and my computer is starting to fall through. There are strong webbing straps down from the handle -- but they stop just before the bottom, where the weight of the computer rests! There is strong orange piping around the sides -- but NOT under the bottom. It would have been so easy for the webbing to extend one more inch, and carry the weight of the computer. I can't understand why they built it this way. Very sad. But six months is not good enough for me, durability wise. I will be replacing it with another brand.
Customer Review: A good sleeve for my 15.6" laptop Summary: 5 Stars
This just fits my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, which has a 15.6" screeen and dimensions of 14.7" x 9.6" x 1.7" (tapered to 1.0"). That's a relatively wide laptop; if it were any wider, the zipper would probably be strained. I would guess the sleeve could hold a laptop up to 14.7" x 10.4" x 1.8", but that's just an estimate as I haven't tried anything larger than mine. I can even fit my power adapter and laptop mouse in the sleeve, but just barely.
Bottom line: this is a lightweight, attractive, inexpensive, functional sleeve that will reasonably protect your laptop, as long as you don't need to carry anything else significant in it.
Customer Review: Great for travel/airports Summary: 5 Stars
I used this sleeve inside my rolling Laptop carrier for my Dell latitude D610. The sleeve is slender enough to fit inside. At the airport I pull the computer out of the roller by the handle and place it to be x-rayed still inside the sleeve. It's so much easier and safer, especially when you're in a rush - less chance of dropping your laptop when there's a handle. Very often I travel to small airports on small planes where I can't carry on my roller, so I simply slip it out of the roller on the tarmac, gate-check my roller and carry my PC onboard by the handle if the sleeve.
Customer Review: Great! Perfect for school! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a Dell Latitude that I use with this sleeve and it's a fantastic way to carry around my computer. I'm a new law student, so I take my computer with me to school everyday, and this sleeve is just perfect. Not only is it attractive and simple, but it is sturdy, sleek and lightweight. It's thin so it doesn't get in the way, and the handle makes it very easy to carry. It's padded well on the inside, so I really feel like my computer is well protected! Best of all, it is a steal at $19.99. Great for the price! I highly recommend this for anyone who travels or any students!
