Customer Review: Be Warned!! These Keepers Will Damage Your CDs & DVDs!!

I have lost a significant number of CDs as the result of a sticky film that has transferred from the keeper to the contained CD. The amount of contamination varies with the color (with purple as the worst and orange the least damaging). CDs stored beside these in paper keepers were not damaged. In many cases, I have not yet been fully successful in removing the film.
Based on a few observations, you probably won't see any contamination for at least a year -- but after two to three years, the result is devastating.

I have these and while I did buy them at my local store and not online I don't know what other reviewers are talking about. Of the two packs that I have bought none have any residue or caused any problems to my disks, they are all clean. My only guess is that was/is a bad batch that may have caused this. These CD/DVD Keepers are perfect for our application. They offer protection, without the bulkiness of a jewel case. Can easily be included inside notebook sleeves for quick and easy modification of documents and programs.
