Customer Review: Absolute Garbage

My HP Pavilion a1210n allegedly has an HP DVD Writer 740b, and I've updated it with the latest firmware, which allegedly recognizes all sorts of 16 speed media.
Despite this, the drive is unable to even recognize these Memorex 16x DVD-R discs. I hope the store where I bought these will take them back, because they are absolutely worthless to me.

I have had no issues with these. Use an NEC 3500 burner and consistently get 5 1/2 min burns of a full disc. Dont care for the new design of the discs themselves, but they have reliably worked for me on 5 consecutive orders.
My co-workers have been ordering them too, and none have complained to me.
I definitely recommend these.

Good disks but badly packaged by the seller. The spindle came smashed as did the plastic casing as the package was in a box with no packing inside. I can't be bothered to complain as it's effort on my part but I won't use this seller again as packing like that shows that they don't care. The disks however are great, I used 30 and have had no fails yet.Customer Review: Great DVDs

This is a great product. When they came, the first two DVDs had some discoloration, so I tossed them out. In the first 50 DVDs that I burnt, I had only 1 problem disc, and I believe it was due to my software not the disk. When I run out, I will definitely be buying another 100-Pack spindle of these. I have trusted Memorex CD-R and DVD-R for years.Customer Review: Works As Expected

I've been burning a lot of home movies lately and getting ready to reorder. Been using the Memorex DVD -R disks with no problem. Only one coaster, and that was my fault, not the disk's fault. Using a Lite-On DVD RW and it works just fine with these Memorex disks. Have not tried any other DVD -R disks, but have used several brands for CD-R burning.
