50 batteries for $10 seems like just too good of a deal, but everything seems to be in working order. I've been using them for weeks now and they're holding up really well. I was disappointed. These were not the Memorex Batteries I usually see, these are made in China and look like knock offs.
I haven't used them yet, so they may be O.K., expecially at that price, but I feel like I was missled.
I also found I could buy Batteries at Costco for the same price.

Why the deuce would anyone buy batteries that are not rechargeable??? They would pay for themselves dozens of times in a lifetime, and they will potentially save waste. It's like people buying cell phones that had to have their batteries replaced every time they ran out. It's absolutely ludicrous.Customer Review: Decent for the price...

usually when i buy batteries in bulk, i store them in a cool place or even the fridge... i used these batteries in my digi cam that just ate batteries like crazy... worked out very well but i ended up switching to rechargables on the digi cam and used the rest of these for my remot controls...Customer Review: On rechargeable batteries

In response to Sina Neshatian (1/16/05): I gave up on rechargeable batteries because: 1) They don't take as much charge as alkaline, even when brand new; and 2) They run down far more quickly. I think they would be very appropriate for uses less demanding than mine.
