Heres a new one....I have recently bought two spindles of these discs, and my computer (Imac w/ Intel chip-hardly outdated) simply doesnt recognize them-like I never put in a disc at all. The kicker is that this spring, I also ordered two spindles of these discs (exactly the same as far as I can tell), from which I burned one hundred discs (not a single faulty one!) for a freind overseas. I have no idea what the deal is, but have a feeling that the issue is not the quality of the discs. Anyone got ideas??Customer Review: Bad experience

My exerience with these discs hasn't been good. They skip on my CD player, and my DVD player won't recognize them (neither will my portable CD player which I use in the car). The only place they work is on my PC at home and at work. I haven't had that problem with other brands. I had the same trouble with a box of Memorex CD-RW (which I bought at a different place). Actually, in that case, I two CDs out of 10 in the box weren't defective. Glad to hear others haven't been so unlucky.Customer Review: Good for certain speed writers but no the faster...

I've bought several packs of the Memorex CD-R's and they all worked great until I got a new computer with a faster CD-RW (48X). The CDs worked great with the slower writer on my older computer, but with the faster writer there is either some user error...or in the off chance that it actually burns it sounds like there is a strong wind in the background...very annoying. For someone with a 16x CD-RW I would recommend these...but not someone one with a higher write speed.Customer Review: Good dependable media

I'm not sure what would cause a bad review of these things. I'm using a Mac g4 with an internal cd/dvd combo drive with great results. I've made music and data discs for a number of people with macs and windows machines. And for home cd systems and cars and they all worked perfectly. So I'd have to say you will problably be OK with these, and if not selll them to a friend, they'll probably work for them, if they have another type of machine that is.

I have a Sony Vaio VPCCW notebook with Windows 7 and Matchita DVD-RAM UJ890AS. Bought Memorex 700MB/80-Minute 52x CD-R Media (100-Pack Spindle). I now own a stack of 17 unusable Memorex CD-Rs that failed a disk copy of a simple audio disk, and 3 (three) that succeeded. I'm going to throw this stack out and buy another brand. It was certainly a waste of money and time for me. Too bad I didn't buy from Amazon; I'd get my money back.
