Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Memorex 32021980 DVD Storage Cases 10 PackCustomer Review: Works fine. Expensive. Summary: 4 Stars
DVD cases reallllly shouldn't be so expensive. I mean, there isn't much to them - just some pressed plastic to put your copied DVDs into. Whoops did I just say that? Ah well, I mean your BACKUP DVDs will fit into these.... yeah that's it. These have a clear plastic sleeve on the outside for the covers your print out at work on the color printer and take home. Not much else to say. They hold DVDs and the cover you print out for them. Shouldn't be so expensive. Should be like 3 bucks for 10.
Customer Review: Great item, weird smell Summary: 4 Stars
This item is perfect for housing movies and software that need to stay safe, however, and this is just nit picky (and weird), but it has a weird barbecue smell... The smell is really potent and I had to spray it down with a deodorant spray just to be able to stand it. That could be just an isolated incident, but I believe it is the plastic. Other then that it is great! It is a lot better then the slim cases which is all anyone ever sells anymore, so I was happy to find them!
Customer Review: Economical and high quality cases. Summary: 5 Stars
I hate those super thin plastic cases that warp when you try to close them. Memorex cases are about the same quality as the cases you get with your movie DVDs. The plastic is high quality to include the clear cover protector. The 2 interior insert holders are well designed and the push button locking hub doesn't threaten to break every time you touch it. These are nice cases well suited for projects as well as replacing worn out cases in your existing collection.
Customer Review: Memorex DVD case Summary: 5 Stars
The cases are on the expensive side, but suitable for important DVD projects. I have tried cheaper cases and found them to be of such poor quality as to be throwaways. It comes down to a decision as to how important the DVD is and whether a more expensive case or a cheaper case is suitable. I have also found the Memorex dual cases and the TDK quad cases to be of similar quality as these and thus suitable for my needs.
Customer Review: durable, does their job well Summary: 5 Stars
I own a Nintendo Wii and had some games that are just in cardboard pouches (Link's Crossbow, Wii Sports, etc) along with some older DVD's. I bought these and printed out some labels on normal paper and I have myself a professional looking DVD and/or game case.
They are durable plastic (I stepped on one that fell on the floor and nothing happened to it) and are easy to remove the DVDs in and out of.
