Customer Review: GREAT QUALITY,SUPERB PICTURE AND SOUND!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

.....I purchased 3 of these cables and right from the start I was impressed. The packaging was perfect, small and durable. The quality of these mediabridge cables surpased my expectations, even after reading the positive reviews. It seems (from the nine one star reviews) that some people may have gotten lemons, because the construction and quality of all three that I purchased was amazing, especially for the price. I have plugged them in and removed them multiple times and have not had one single issue. (for example a couple reviewers said the gold connectors came right off, that didnt happen with mine, I even tugged at it, very sturdy.) If you are looking for a high end HDMI ver. 1.3 category 2 cable, without the high end cost, then look no further, this is it! I have both my HD cable box and my samsung bd4600 blu-ray player running too my receiver with these cables,(my receiver is the Denon AVR 990 it has five assignable HDMI ver.1.3 inputs and one out) Then my third cable is running out to my plasma t.v., which is the samsung 63" PNB590. The reason I threw out the size of my t.v., is just for the fact that I seen one review ( a bad one, 1 star I think) from someone that had a large screen t.v. and claimed that these might not work with a larger t.v. Not the case with mine, My picture and sound is PHENOMINAL, it couldnt be any better!! I am so glad I purchased these, (I got all three for less than 40.00) instead of the high end COST ones that I almost got talked into buying at ABC Warehouse and Best Buy.

Customer Review: Great Product at a great deal!

I bought this product for use with my PS3 and my 1080p Samsung 6 Series 120hz TV. After researching and reading both positive and negative reviews, I gave it a shot. After all at the price, I wouldn't feel too bad if it didn't work.

The shipping was fast, and the product was new and packaged really well in a box from Mediabridge. After plugging it in and having used it on the PS3 for both video games and Blu ray, I have to say I am overall impressed with the performance and highly recommend the product. So far so good. I'm thinking that there's probably 1 in 1000 people that may end up with a dud but I'm sure these guys are willing to swap for a new one, they seem pretty good in customer service.

I spoke to someone when researching TVs and cables who worked at Circuit City, prior to their bankruptcy, and he confirmed that monster apparently has the market cornered on cables at every electronic store known to man, and that the cable is really not the driver of the picture, its actually the TV's speed. Therefore, at 120hz you get the best picture regardless of the cable. At that point I put down the monster cable in my hand and have not turned back since...sorry guys!

Just something to think about before making a huge purchase on a cable. I'm sure there may be something to a known Brand like monster but at the end of the day there really is no difference in performance.

Definitely go with Mediabridge if you decide not to take the brand name route.

Customer Review: Excellent product and company!

Don't be fooled that there isn't a difference between HDMI cables because I can attest to the fact that there is a huge difference. I have an xbox 360 and a playstation. I previously have had three other cables... one by the way that was actually from Microsoft for the Xbox. I was continually having problems with them and at one point the picture just kept flashing in and out on me and I was having horrible ghosting problems. I thought maybe it was just the games but there were times when it was very obvious something was wrong with the picture. After reading reviews and finding out about the new 1.3 standard and what it would do for me I immediately ordered two cables even though I have a working one but it was older generation. I was skeptical as anyone about there really being a difference. When I received the cables I was immediately impressed with the craftsmanship of the cables. The cord is very thick and tight at the connections. They just felt like high quality cords much like the monster cables feel. It was obvious this company took pride in what they do. When I hooked up my components I immediately played a game that I had been playing with the older generation cords and MAN was there a difference. The colors were brighter and the issues I was having before were eliminated. They were very prompt in shipping also. This is the company for me for anything I need if they sell it. Excellent in all aspects.. kudos mediabridge.

Customer Review: Pleasantly surprised

I was lucky enough to get a brand new Sony Bravia LCD television for my 30th birthday, with a Monster brand HDMI cable thrown in for my Xbox 360. It wasn't but a few days later that the urge to buy a Blu Ray player set in.

After much scouring on the internet to find the perfect HDMI cable to connect this device to my television (without having to swap the Monster cable between the BD player and the 360), I came to these conclusions- Though I wanted one, I could not afford to purchase a second Monster cable- secondly, I was not comfortable enough to purchase a one cent cable with five dollar shipping.

Researching these sorts of things online for myself was a very educational experience. We all know that HDMI deals with a digital signal, 1's and 0's, etcetera. But you've got to give the actual physical construction of a product a little more credit than I've seen it being given. This particular Mediabridge HDMI cable is very well constructed, and it gives me an ease of mind in knowing that when I have to unplug the thing it's not going to self destruct on me.

I've watched a few Blu Rays using this cable and I must say that the picture quality itself is flawless.

I recommend this particular brand of HDMI cable to anyone feeling uncertain about the quality of the generic two cent cables all over Amazon, and to those who cannot afford the $100+ cables. You will not be disappointed!!

Customer Review: Viewing Blu-Ray Over Mediabridge Ultra Series...Great!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

While ordering a new Panasonic 65" Plasma HDTV through Amazon.com I studied the various reviews of High Speed HDMI Cables-Version 1.3 Category 2 Certified for 1080p and Blu-Ray use on the various online sites. After comparing different reviews of the various cable companies available I decided on the review on this Amazon.com site of the Mediabridge Ultra Series-6' High Speed HDMI Cable-Version 1.3 Category 2 Certified-1080p-Blu-Ray-PS3. I then placed the order for three (3) sets of these cables for our new HDTV. I used two sets of these cables...one cable from my FiOS STB to my HDMI #1 input on the HDTV. The second cable from my Blu-Ray player to the HDMI #2 input on the HDTV. The first thing I noticed about the cables were that they were more flexible then my previous set of cables and not as heavy as the cables from Pacific Cable. (I had trouble with the previous cables working their way out of the female HDMI connection because of the weight of the cable and losing the picture). After viewing the picture from the Blu-Ray Player was absolutely breath taking with these cables. We also were amazed at the high definition picture from the FiOS STB through our new HDTV. We are extremely happy with these Mediabridge Ultra Series High Speed Version 1.3 Category 2 Certified 1080p Cables and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for cables for the use of 1080p, Video 1080p games or Blu-Ray Player at a very reasonable price.
