Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Maximo FM Transmitter and Car Charger for Sansa MP3 PlayersCustomer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased one for myself and loved it. It was easy to install and I didn't have too much trouble finding a station that had great reception. My husband ended up riding in my car and was introduced to the product. He decided it would save him the hassle of switching out CD's and wanted one too. Now we both have one and don't leave home without it. Sometimes I have to drive for several hours while at work. I just take it from my car and plug it into the company vehicle without any hassle.

Maximo SAN-360 Car FM Transmitter & Charger For Sansa e200 c200 c100 MP3 Players
First I tried it on a low battery, since it is supposed to be a charger. Didn't work. I charged my battery, tried it again. It made my player shut off. Had to remove the battery to try it again. It blew the fuse. I'm sending it back before it ruins my 240C, which works very well without the transmitter.
Customer Review: Just what I was looking for Summary: 4 Stars
I have had this transmitter for about a month, and so far it has performed as I'd hoped. Once I found some local frequencies at which it worked without interference from other stations, it has been very reliable. I've had to turn the radio volume up higher with it to get the same volume as with a regular radio station, but that's been no big deal. Sound quality is ok - about like radio quality, maybe not quite as good as a CD. But I'm glad I found this device and purchased it.
Customer Review: Works OK but lots of static Summary: 3 Stars
I like the look and feel of this device.
The one real issue I have with it is the inability to block out even weak signals.
I live in a fairly rural area of East Texas but the FM dial is full.
Even the most weak stations bleed through with static and distortion. This is especially noticeable on quiet songs and between tracks.
The McCally cup holder unit I had for my stolen E280R was much better but they do not make a device like this for the Sansa Fuze.
Customer Review: Great Charger with Poor Transmitter in Urban Areas Summary: 3 Stars
The Maximo FM Transmitter is useless in urban areas. In areas with few unused radio frequencies, the radio noise interferes with your personal broadcast. Even when driving through remote areas one must frequently change channels because an unused channel in one rural area is not necessarily an unused channel in another. This is a well-made product, and it functions wonderfully as a charger, but the transmitter feature is not powerful enough to drown out the radio broadcasts.
