OK, I am a moron. Yes Yes Yes Yes yes. (Ok, for those of you who know me and are saying I am not a moron because I look after myself so well and am so pretty, and say no no no no no, I say, just let me finish).

I got grumpy because my batteries had not arrived, so I sent a very grumpy email to the vendor.

Now, I sent that grumpy email on a Saturday, and he called me Sunday morning. Five stars for response! A phone call? Make my day, baby!

He told me they had been sent by mail, in a white envelope, and I should already have them.

So I checked. I found them.

But this is not the good news. I have a kitchen scale which uses the batteries (two at a time) and Walgreens had sold me two Eveready batteries, and the scale just didn't work.

These batteries arrived in a real Maxell bubble-pack, with the holograms and everything, and they worked perfectly! They are still working perfectly.

Since then, I have ordered several other items from the same vendor, and I have learned to recognize the white envelopes. :)

My Iron Man heart monitor watch is working fabulously. My scale is working fabulously. I don't think there is anything these people can't give me batteries for that won't work fabulously.

So five stars for tolerating morons, and five stars for delivery of the real goods.
