Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Maxell 648200 700 MB 80 min CD-R (100 Pack)Customer Review: These are reliably good! Summary: 5 Stars
I have used several different brands of cd-r's for burning "backup" copies of music CDs and saving data files, and I have not found any that were consistently as good as these. Other brands I have used had a higher number of faulty discs in the package - some as high as 10%!
Also, don't be scared by the size of this pack! 100 discs might seem like overkill, but believe me once you start to use them you will find that 100 go pretty quickly!
Bottom line, these Maxells are good quality at an excellent price.
Customer Review: The right pack of CD-R's. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this brand based on recommendations here at Amazon. I looked for them in our local stores, but they didn't have them and it was just easier to order online. Can't vouch for how long they last, but we've burned a bunch of them, and like other reviewers we have yet to have a dud. Amazing, since our last pack (can't recall the brand just now) had 10-15% of disks that wouldn't burn. These reviews have steered me right again, and I will buy the exact pack in the future when I run out (unless something better comes along).
Customer Review: Repeat Order...again! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been partial to Maxell products for well over 30 years--since the days of analog cassettes--UD90s, even before XL-1, XL-2 & MX came onto the scene. The tapes were well-constructed and nearly all are still in my collection enjoying service with no loss in fidelity. I am a discerning audiophile. So far, I have had no problems with any of the CDs I have burned using this product. I will continue to trust the Maxell name for my musical archiving and recording needs. So, since my spindle is getting low, it's time to order again.
Customer Review: Best so far Summary: 5 Stars
Being a full time DJ I go through a lot of CD-R. I've tried a lot, but I've settled on Maxell. I don't know if they are really better, or it's just psychological, but they work for me. I can't remember having a bad one. Plus, I like the nice open silver top that I can write, titles and information on. I think I will have to add this product to djgiftideas.com website. What DJ couldn't use more blank CDs?
Customer Review: Great! Summary: 5 Stars
These Maxell CD-Rs are much better than Memorex. For music, it doesn't have any unwanted zzz....sounds like Memorex does, and is like live; for photos, it is vivid and fresh; for data, it copies the information correctly, smoothly. It's a little bit expensive than Memorex brand, but it is worth the money. Highly recommended.
