Customer Review: Mediocre headphones get the job done

We bought two pairs of these - one for each of our kids. We LOVED that these came with three different color inserts (gray, pink, blue) so they could identify which one was theirs. Additional PRO's: sizing is perfect for toddlers and young children, and they reduce the max volume output to reduce risk of ear damage.
CON's: regarding the volume reduction, I would prefer something adjustable by the parents. On the airplane, it was very difficult to hear, even with the device volumes at max.
Construction quality is just so-so. They were very inexpensive so we weren't disappointed. But just important to note.
Finally, you just can't get past the fact that wires and children don't mix well. One head turn, kick, arm movement - whatever little kids do - and the headphones are off, unplugged, or the player is on the floor. Again, these were exactly what we expected but next time around, we're going to look for wireless solutions, or something that does a better job with wire management.
