After getting a call from National explaining the date code on the batteries i am giving this five stars. Maxell should do a better job of putting a date code on thier products as it does get misleading. Thanks to National for calling me. A perfect example, unfortunately, of getting less than what I hoped. These batteries last, at best, a quarter as long as Duracell/Energizer. My device indicates 300-400 hours from one battery and I receive less than 100 per Maxell cell. Frequent replacement is just not my idea of fun.Customer Review: Good battery - good price

This battery works well and lasts as long as any other brand I've tried. The seller got it to me quickly and without hassle. Not much more to say about a battery except that I've had no problems at all with any of these and no problem with the seller.

After purchasing the Kandle I wasn't sure how long the original batteries would hold up. So far, with a month of late nights of reading, the original batteries are still burning bright. I'm glad to have this small set for future use.
